Prices and VAT
Prices on this site include VAT at 20% unless stated otherwise. You can switch the display to show prices excluding VAT using the control at the top of any page; the amount you pay is always the VAT-inclusive figure shown at checkout.
The price you pay is the price shown when you place your order. We take reasonable care to price the site correctly; if a price is obviously wrong we will contact you before processing the order rather than simply charging you.
Payment
Payment is taken when you place your order, by the methods shown at checkout. Card details are handled by our payment provider, PayPal; we do not see or store them.
Collection
Collection from our Liverpool depot is free at any order value for everything we stock, including roofline, guttering, panels, decking, fencing, trims and sealants. In-stock items are usually ready within the hour in opening hours; items we bring in for you take longer, and the product page and your basket say so. We will let you know when your order is ready. Please bring your order number.
Some ranges cannot be collected because they come to you direct from the maker, namely uPVC windows and doors, Liteslate roof tiles, vinyl flooring and made-to-measure sliding wardrobe doors. Some long lengths are collection or local delivery only. Both are stated on the product page and again in your basket.
Delivery
Delivery is priced at checkout from the postcode you are having the goods delivered to; enter it to see the options and prices available to you. Full detail is on the delivery page.
Pallet delivery needs £500 of pallet goods in the order; flooring delivery needs £450 of flooring. Below the pallet minimum, pallet goods can still be collected free of charge.
Delivery dates are estimates. Where a date matters to you, tell us in the order notes or ring us, and we will confirm what is possible. Someone over 18 must be available to receive and check the goods. Pallet deliveries are to the kerb, and the goods are hand-balled off the vehicle by you.
Made-to-measure and specially ordered goods
Sliding wardrobe doors are made to the sizes you give us, and other non-stock items are ordered in specifically for you. Check your sizes and specification before you confirm the order. Once made or ordered, these goods cannot be returned or refunded unless they are faulty.
Checking your goods
Please check your order on collection or delivery and tell us about any shortage or damage as soon as possible, the same day if you can, so we can put it right quickly.
Returns and cancellations
Our returns terms, including your cancellation rights if you are buying as a consumer, are on the returns page. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
