About the 3.6m Composite Decking
Composite decking and the parts that finish it, namely boards, hidden fixing clips and corner trim. Composite won’t rot or splinter, and it never needs oiling or staining. Clips hold the boards down with no screw heads on the walking surface. Corner trim closes off the cut ends.
The job. A deck you sweep instead of sand, with no oiling, no staining and no splinters underfoot.
You will also need. A sound, level subframe to fix to, clips for the boards, and trim for the exposed edges.
Watch out for. Composite expands along its length in warm weather. Butt board ends tight and summer heat will buckle the run, so leave expansion gaps.
